The institute conducts traditional and web-based seminars for students to improve their understanding of theoretical learning using real-life scenarios. We encourage students to participate in every seminar to broaden their knowledge & skills in their field of interest, to improve communication skills, and to develop self-esteem & motivation. IIMS offers a platform for students to communicate face-to-face or through social media and to forge new contacts with industry professionals to gain experience and exchange perspectives through discussion and debate on issues related to their field. To ensure that our students stand out in the competitive market, the institute offers flexible and time convenient and learning opportunities. IT Infrastructure

IIMS is equipped with basic IT facilities for students and faculties for all kinds of IT needs. IIMS offers a separate IT lab to guide students and staff to make study and work easier. Our IT service provides free access to statistical software, business analytics tools such as, different software related to management studies etc. with an audio-video facility for conferences, meetings, and interviews. IIMS provides a wide range of resources to students to develop skills, to enhance hands-on experiences in different software development projects, data analysis, data science, and project management with the guidance of accomplished faculties and industry leaders.

Library

IIMS library has been set up along with the establishment of the institute to meet the need of students, scholars, teachers, and researchers to learn, teach, research, and expand knowledge. The library holds more than 5000 books including journals, e-journals, e-books, manuscripts, maps, and different resourceful items items. IIMS library provides free access to their students, faculty, researcher, and non-teaching staff. The library of IIMS has a mammoth collection of resources specialized in subjects such as Economics, Statistics, Finance, Management, Business Communication, Operation, Labour Welfare, Marketing, Human Resource, Management Information Systems, project management and many other pertinent matters. etc. Our library services are completely computerized and equipped with a Wi-Fi connection. Our library service also provides extended timing for students during exams and provides a special assigned area for study, group discussion, group study, and interview preparation. Overall our library provides an ambiance to explore beyond traditional learning which makes it a rightful place for the brightest mind of the country.

Canteen

IIMS Canteen service serves students, faculty, researcher, and non-teaching staff a wide range of good food at budget-friendly prices. Our canteen serves snacks, soft drinks, good quality food , and meals for every member of the IIMS family. IIMS canteen is Wi-Fi connected and encourages students to continue the study and enjoy their meal at the same time. IIMS has a very special environment that is committed to sustaining the health and well-being of students, teachers, the environment of the institute, and our mother nature.

Industry Visits

As part of our academic curriculum, IIMS provides students an insight into the internal working process of companies. IIMS aims to go beyond theoretical concepts, thus, provides an opportunity for students to get practical exposure, hands-on experience in business processes and operations. The main objective behind offering industrial visits is to allow students to interact with industry leaders, professionals to develop leadership skills, management skills, technical and non-technical skills. Our structured industrial visit program helps students to enhance communication & interpersonal skills, various management concepts, company ethics, and policies in terms of manufacturing, operation, quality, and services. We encourage students to participate in every industrial visit to make good relationships with industry professionals before entering the life of managers to get experience beforehand.

Regular Grooming Sessions & Mock Interviews

IIMS restructured the placement system and has set up a compulsory grooming session & mock interviews for every student as a part of the academic curriculum. IIMS believes grooming plays a significant part in every student’s life to excel at interviews. Our structured grooming session provides training on business meeting etiquette, communication & interpersonal skills, presentational skills, professionalism, personality enhancement, tips on body language, dressing, and makeup. Regular grooming sessions are provided to students by highly qualified faculty and industry leaders to help them to come out with flying colors in interviews and to establish a successful career. As part of our placement policy, IIMS provides mock interviews to make students ready for the stress interviews, to enhance interaction and discussion skills, to increase self-esteem and leadership qualities. IIMS offers industry interface programs to bring students close to industry professionals to succeed professionally by understanding corporate ethics and cults. Our grooming session begins with assigning a mentor to every student to guide them from CV building to land a good job followed by guidance on GD, mock interviews, internship, etc. IIMS believes as placement is an integral part of every management institute, thus, it is crucial to help students to make them prepare for D-Day before entering the corporate world.

Training and Placements Department

To provide the best opportunity in the business world, IIMS prepares its students with guidance from the faculty, offers regular grooming sessions & mock interviews, seminars & webinars, and industry visits. The institute maintains a database of students and recruiters to keep a healthy relationship in both ways. IIMS significant placements over the years and students are working in several big organizations. The institute offers a decent distribution across business sectors such as FMCG, BFSI, Consultancy, Operation, Service, IT, Finance, Sales, Marketing, etc. Our top recruiters included Axis Bank, Dabur India, Amazon, Marico Ltd., American Express Bank, Asia Columbia Ltd., Cipla Pharmaceuticals, Emami Biotech Ltd., Mother Dairy, Jindal Steel, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.Ltd. are among them offered leadership roles to our students. BMW Industries Ltd. and Minu Sarees are our first-time recruiters this year. Overall the whole placement process was a big success this year.
