International Institute of Management Sciences (IIMS), a non-profit management institution situated in West Bengal, is a pioneer institution in India to offer Management Education in the private sector since 1979. IIMS started a 2-year Full-time MBA Program from 2004 with the approval of AICTE, Govt. of India, affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, (Formerly West Bengal University of Technology, WBUT) at its new dedicated campus at Uluberia with modern facilities required for world -class Management education. It is the first self financed institute in India to receive AICTE approval in 1991 for conducting PGDBA programme. IIMS School of Business was formed in 2012 for conducting International Education and other Industry oriented applied programme under its patronage.
